He studied sculpture at the academy of fine arts in krakow (1995- 2000) in the studio of professor joseph sekowski and at the universität der künste in berlin in the studio of professor karlheinz biederbick. In 2000, he started to work at the academy. In 2008 he received his phd title and the position of lecturer.
in 2018 he received the title of doctor habilitated of fine arts. Currently, he is the head of the department of visual arts and conducts a sculpture studio at the department of industrial forms at the academy of fine arts in krakow.
pawel received many awards and distinctions in polish and international competitions and art reviews.
