The Turin entrepreneur Giovanni Gualino commissioned the architects Giuseppe Pagano and Gino Levi Montalcini to create a series of office furniture for his company which was based in a building which later took its name from the owner himself "Palazzo Gualino".
The innovation in tables, desks, chairs, shelving, bookcases is represented by the material: pressed and stratified cardboard that simulated wood, the production of this new material which was given the name BUXUS is by the Turin company FLIP.
