The countryside landscape sees a dilapidated structure standing in the centre, the ruins of a building through whose torn walls the masses of white clouds in the background can be seen flowing; a small stream flows in front of it, where a woman is washing clothes, while her companion sits on a nearby boulder, in line with the female figure and almost symmetrical with the female figure. The scene is characterized by a particular lighting research, by a dynamism of the forms (you can notice the directional continuity of the foliage of the tree with the roof of the ruin and the clouds) and the theatricality of the figures, all elements that have defined the pictorial production of the Genoese Baroque. Restored and relined, the painting is Presented in a stylish frame. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
