It is a beauty queen, solid hardwood, lipstick red and black lacquer finished. Elaborate painting adorns the top, two dragons meeting in the middle over the red base color, contained within a black border featuring six flower motifs. Superb quality, beautiful floral design follows through to the legs, which are all connected with a superb carved and gilt stretcher (subdued gold). Condition is good, it shows minimal use and age wear, it has few antique touch-ups (please see photos). Measurements are great for any room at 39" wide, 16" across, while the height is 15.25". Awesome piece that will turn any room into a spectacular room, a piece of art on the floor, it will mesh with traditional or mid-century modern. less
