It has been professionally painted and distressed in an antique manner in shades of gray with blue undertones. The casework is sturdy and drawers function beautifully. The brass hardware are replacements and function smoothly to open and close the drawers. The old locks are intact however the antique key is missing. Waxed finish that has a buttery feel and a soft glow.... just buff with a t-shirt to increase shine. See less
