Description: This is an heirloom quality set of 8 ladder back rush seat dining chairs. Each chair features solid oak construction, … more This is an heirloom quality set of 8 ladder back rush seat dining chairs. Each chair features solid oak construction, round stiles topped with acorn finials, 4 shaped ladder back slats, woven rush seats, and tapered legs supported by a double box stretcher. The oak frames wear a handsome medium-brown stain and a low-maintenance oiled finish. The chairs are unsigned, but likely to be American made in the early 20th century.

The early 20th century chairs are in excellent condition. The chairs have rock solid joinery and fully intact tightly woven rush seats. Each chair measures 43" tall, 18" wide, and 15" deep with a seat height of 17.5 inches. The chairs are petite in scale but very sturdy and can support a lot of weight. less
