It features a large light cream … more This elegant Art Deco pendant was designed and manufactured in Finland in the 1940s. It features a large light cream (off-white) colored pleated fabric lampshade and brass hardware. The shade has a symmetrical, slightly convex shape that tapers at the top and bottom, creating a soft, diffused light. The design is elegant and balanced, with a decorative finial at the bottom, embodying the luxurious and geometric aesthetics typical of the Art Deco style. The fixture requires one E26/E27 bulb and has been re-electrified and rewired. All lighting is converted for US usage and any other country of the world. The lampshade has been recovered / reupholstered. The diameter of the canopy is 4" (10cm). The lamp rod only is 15.8" (40cm) and customizable. If shortened the fixture could also be used as a semi flush mount. The overall condition is very good with a nice warm, vintage age related patina on the brass parts.
