Extraordinarily decorated Antique Vienna porcelain cup with saucer: Bell-shaped white porcelain cup on a stepped foot, three-quarters of the exterior decorated with stylised swans and delicate floral and leaf decoration en grisaille against a black background, the lower quarter and the foot in gold, extensive gilding also on the inner wall with a recessed base, recess also on the inner upper, flared rim zone, painted with delicate gold-painted bands and gold rim, gilt raised, curved handle with volute attachment to the upper rim of the cup. The saucer has a slightly upturned rim and a smooth mirror with central circular gilding, around which the stylised swan decoration with delicate flowers and feather leaf bands is repeated, gold rim, as well as a wide gold rim on the underside. Manufactory: 'Alt Wien' Old Imperial Austrian Porcelain Manufactory Vienna Date of manufacture: 1813 Technique: white handmade porcelain, painted, glossy finish, gold staffage Dimensions: height of cup + handle: 9,0 cm / 3.54 in diameter of saucer: 13,7 cm / 5.39 in Marks: - Underglaze blue shield from the Imperial Manufactory Vienna - Year's mark: '813' for 1813 - Former's numbers: 36 + 60 - Painter's mark: ii. Condition: very good overall condition - Handle professionally regilded, light abrasion on the saucer. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
