Made in France, circa 1795-1810
Carved arms, and klismos front legs, and carved knees. Peach-y/pink-y coloured upholstery.
Nicely carved arms, and clean upholstered seats and backs. Made from Mahogany, and Mahogany veneers. Beech or walnut secondary woods. Chairs are quite heavy for their stature.
Upholstery is recent, in the last 20-30 years in our opinion.
Size: 22" wide, 18" deep, and 36.5" tall. 17" seat height.
Condition: Overall very fine condition, minor veneer losses, and patches on the front seat rail. Clean upholstery. No breaks or repairs to the legs. French polished surface. Minor use and wear marks from age, and use. See pictures. less
