The lid of this feminine box features raised scenes of cupids and babies in a cream hue, playing various instruments. (violins, trumpets, flutes, and guitars). Flowers and leaves are scattered throughout among the cupids. At the center of the lid, a flourished heart made up of vines and flowers frame a mother and two children embracing. The mother’s hair is fixed in an up style or bun, and each of the children throughout have curly short hair. Above the trio, are a bouquet of daisies. All on a pale pink background.

The sides of the box are in the same pale pink hue with white veining, with very minimal raised decorations. Three raised flourished decorations in the same pink hue are on both sides as well as the front at the foot of the box at the foot.

The bottom of the boxed is in the same material as the rest of the piece, however, it is shined and smooth. It also features 4 round black felt pads to protect any surface the box lies upon.

The inside of this trinket box is lined in black velvet at the bottom. A brass hinge at the back attaches the lid.

This would be a lovely accent to a dresser, nightstand or as a hostess gift. It would also make a wonderful Mother's Day gift. Such a great way to hold special jewelry.
