Beautiful set of antique pressed glass Dessert-Berry Bowls from the Sandwich Glass Company that was started in 1825 in Sandwich, MA. The company was known for its pressed glass works and its use of color. These are its most popular bottle green. They feature a daisy on the bottom and around the perimeter of each piece. There is also an Art Nouveau vine in the design between the daisies. The company originally started placing Oatmeal cups into boxes of oatmeal as a gift with purchase. Women began to collect them and it was so popular, the company expanded the collection to include a saucer, a berry bowl and two sizes of glasses. At the time of listing, we offered all of those in our shop.
