Antique colored print from the book Les Fleurs animées - a book from 1847. Wild Framed and under glass. Wild illustration of women turned flowers and garden tools turned animals. The illustrations are by the French cartoonist J.J. Grandville. In all the illustrations there are the images of women as flowers personified, clothed in courtly fashions blended with petals and leaves. Beautiful painted frame. Great addition to your vintage home decor and art collection.
