A watercolor painting by the American artist Virginia Brooks (1925-2021). A man and a boy chat at a street corner of a Mediterranean town in this watercolor painting. Signed to the lower right, the painting is unframed. An additional painting of firetrucks in painted on the verso of the painting.
Born in Cincinnati, Brooks studied at the Cincinnati Art Academy as well as the Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, where she received her undergraduate degree in Art Education. She was a member of the American Watercolor Society, the Midwest Watercolor Society, and the Cincinnati Women's Art Club.
