Wooden lamp body shows some scuffs and loss of finish, mostly at the base. The shade shows some slight bending & breaks to whipstitch corner detail at the back right corner. You can see this in the detached shade photo (right corner of shade visible)

Fantastic 50's cerused oak table lamp in biomorphic/organic shape, complete with a *really good* boxy, whipstitched fiberglass shade. The shade is so unusual! The front side is hand decorated, depicting a weathered tree, its branches reaching towards the shade's corners. When lit, the shade gives off a wonderful warm glow. Unlit, the lamps shows more of the white cerused detail in the oak veining as well as the white threads in the fiberglass shade. The lamp measures almost 3 ft tall to the tip of the tapering (4"L) finial. While there is no label present, the quality and style very much indicate a Yasha Heifetz studio lamp. I can find no other example of this particular lamp/shade online.
Rewired with brown rayon cording. Bottom is felt lined. less
