This set of eight (8) mahogany dining chairs includes two (2) carvers (with arms) and six (6) singles, as well as an elegant and unusual two-seater settee -- a total of nine (9) pieces in all. These examples of fine English craftsmanship circa 1870 now have a lovely patina and are currently upholstered in yellow silk.
The chairs show minor wear (particularly scuffing on the feet -- see photo example) but are generally in very fine condition. This set would add versatility and grace to any dining or living room.
