The leather writing surface, while original, has seen better days. There is wear to the desk itself, but still presents very impressively. The desk itself is so much more impressive in person. The corner brass figural mounts evoke the Far East. All of the incredibly ornate brass mounts are intact except for the lower foot on one of the back legs. (See pics.) Hard to notice, but mentioned for accuracy. This AMAZING 1950s Antique French Chinoiserie Desk measures 73" Inches long by 37" Inches deep and stands 32" Inches tall. This AMAZING Vintage 1950s Chinoiserie French Bureau Plat Desk w Outstanding Brass Ormolu Mounts is being offered in overall good condition. There are three large drawers with the center one being locking. The leather writing surface, while original, has seen better days. There is wear to the desk itself, but still presents very impressively. The desk itself is so much more impressive in person. The corner brass figural mounts evoke the Far East.
