The solid walnut … moreThis elegant set of Model 811 dining chairs by Josef Frank/Hoffman is in 100% original, vintage condition! The solid walnut frames are in very good shape showing some minor nicks and light surface scratches (the worst of which can be seen in the photos provided) but showing no gouges, stains or other damage whatsoever. The original caning is also in very good original condition showing only minor breaks in the caning, the worst of which can be seen in both the detail photos and natural light video provided. There is also a small divot in the caning on one of the seats that is approximately 2" x 3" and can also be seen in the detail photos provided. There are also some minor areas of subtle discoloration and can be seen, if barely, in the video provided. With that said all four seats and backrests are weight-bearing and structurally sound. This absurdly gorgeous set of dining chairs is very comfortable, structurally sound and ready for decades more of use.
