Description: Elegant Georgian mahogany dining table of beautiful craftsmanship. The reeded, solid mahogany top is Georgian, probably from the first quarter … more Elegant Georgian mahogany dining table of beautiful craftsmanship. The reeded, solid mahogany top is Georgian, probably from the first quarter of the 19th century. The three well-carved, turned columns with downswept sabre supports terminating in brass claw cappings and brass castors were made for the tabletop c. 1890. The table without leaves is 107" long. Two 21" leaves permit the table to extend to a full 149" length (photos show table with no leaves or one leaf). Seats 6-8 people with no leaf, 8-10 with one leaf, and 12-14 with both leaves.

Purchased in the UK in the late 1990s and lovingly cared for, this spectacular antique will be a wonderful addition to many styles or collections. less
