A unique pair of hand painted chinoiserie planters from the 1970s. They are in perfect condition and both have drainage holes with a matching tray. They look like they were never used, except as simple decor, but not to hold plants as the plates are in excellent, like new condition. This is a great vintage pair, and their intricate detail of birds, flowers and a beautiful patterned trim includes moriage style accents. Gold accents make all of the colors really pop.
The lip of the planters displays a pretty floral pattern that is matched on the planter trays.
Given the condition of this pair, they are a rare find.
Both planters and their matching trays have makers marks indicating they were made in the 1980s. less
