Exceptional Victorian brass fireplace fender, in very fine original condition showing only light cosmetic wear normal and consistent with age.
The fender features a curved front with dimensional reposé designs. Extremely well constructed, heavy brass structure, not thin or flimsy like most brass fenders seen on the market.
19th century vintage, probably made in the USA in the English style, unsigned.
