1970s Vintage Handwoven Yarn Throw Blanket

‘Khes` is a floor spread and bed covering traditionally hand woven. Khes evolved centuries ago, during the Mughal period, to meet the demand of a cotton blanket for spring & Pre-winters.
This particular piece is antique from Sind/Punjab from 20th century. It has a double weave pattern done by hand on a wooden loom with traditional motifs. It remains cool in summer and warm in winters. These are reversible throws with different color and designs.
