This wonderful, late Baroque pattern dates to 1760, and was long ago retired. It was named in honor of the memory of Princess Caroline, a daughter of King George II. The floral ornament and swags are all delicately hand painted and enriched by gold. The set, all in the finest bone china, consists of two 5 cup "Warmstry" pots, the two lids, a cream jug, a sugar bowl, four cups, six saucers, two large, square cake dishes and eleven round tea plates.
