There are other corner nicks to the legs, and a bit of lacquer shine loss on the fronts of the legs (see detail photo). I applied a light coat of clear wax to the tables. The tops of the large and smallest tables are in very good condition; only the middle one shows the 2"L x .5"H area of gold paint loss. less

Each tabletop shows figure(s) enjoying beautiful natural scenery, with gold rocky outcroppings (rocks are built-up roundly painted) sprigs of flowers in red and turquoise, bridges to pass and pagodas to enjoy. Nesting tables are always practical to have on hand, especially in smaller areas where you want things tucked away when not in guest use. These tables have simple, strong lines with leg detail outlined in gold, adding visual interest even when the beautiful smaller table tops are hidden from view.
