This beautiful sculpture presents a stylized female figure, with soft lines and elegant curves, characteristic of the Art Deco style.
The pose, with the body leaning slightly forward, the arms open backwards and the hair blowing in the wind, suggests movement and dynamism.
The treatment of the fabric enveloping the figure is another distinctive Le Verrier element.
The straight, angular lines contrast with the curves of the body, creating a very characteristic play of textures and volumes.
This car mascot, called “Nymphe de la vitesse”, bears the name “Femme au voile”.
The hood ornament is signed on the base by “Le Verrier” and is set on a round green marble base.

The overall condition is good. It has a small dent in the nose and a crack in the base, but they are not very noticeable.
