Description: Rare counterbalance pulley pendant lamp designed and manufactured by Stilnovo, Italy 1955. This pendant lamp has the ability to easily … more Rare counterbalance pulley pendant lamp designed and manufactured by Stilnovo, Italy 1955. This pendant lamp has the ability to easily change height and can serve more purposes on 1 place. Due to an ingenious pully system the lamp can be pulled down or pushed up in a matter of seconds. The smooth-running system with a counterweight on a plastic wire provides enough weight to position the lamp in the height you want it without it moving at any position. The lamp shade has a ‘pull’ arm fixed to it, makes it easy to adjust the height with the use of only one hand. The top of the shade and the counterweight are in very nice cream yellow colour. The ceiling cap is in off white, and the hardware details are in black patinated brass. The lamp is in very good original condition with minor wear from age and usage and it still has its original Stilnovo sticker on the inside of the shade. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
