Exquisite lp8 sconces wall lamps by ignazio gardella designed in 1955 for azucena italy, an esteemed italian brand. Azucena was one of the leading luxury furniture, accessories and light producers from the mid 20th century. These sconces showcase the timeless creativity of ignazio gardella. Made from acrylic glass and nickel-plated brass, they exude a sophisticated allure. The combination of the translucent acrylic glass and the nickel-plated brass creates a captivating contrast, enhancing the lamps' aesthetic appeal. The lamps are composed by a acrylic glass cilinder with a metal inner ring on the bottom an a small arm on top held together with flat nickel-plated screws. A nice detail is the ribbed edge on each screw. These lp8 sconces are in very good original condition with a nice patina to the nickel plated structures. Stamped azucena at the backs.lamps use an e27 bulb up to 75 watt and can also be use with led and dimmer. this piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
