Artistic pair of screenprints by nerone ceccarelli made in italy in 1975. Immediately recognizable is the nerone patuzzi design style. The shapes, the use of depth, all is there. Pretty artworks which are both signed 'nerone' at the bottom with number 47 and 93 from an edition of 270 pieces. Highly rare pieces from np2, very hard to find artworks like these. Priced and sold as a pair. Newer frames, but already done some time ago. Ceccarelli was the creator of the artworks, he studied in florence and venice, it was the last city where he met carlo scarpa who was of a big influence in the search for details and compositional balance. Gruppo np2 was an influential artistic collective that operated in the torino area. Known for their innovative and avant-garde approach, the group made significant contributions to the art scene during their active years. Led by talented artists, including nerone ceccarelli and gianni patuzzi, gruppo np2 left a lasting impact with their unique style and creative endeavours. The group's works often showcased a fusion of geometrical forms and abstract elements, captivating viewers with their artistic expression and experimentation. With their commitment to pushing artistic boundaries and embracing new techniques, gruppo np2 played a vital role in shaping the art landscape of the region. Their artistic legacy continues to inspire and resonate with art enthusiasts, showcasing the power of collaboration and artistic innovation. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker.
