This amazing bar compartment is made … Read more Rare dry bar designed by Vuillermoz and manufactured by Dambrine in France in 1960. This amazing bar compartment is made of mahogany and still has its original warm colour. There are three foldable segments like little doors with small bras handles to open up the bar. Inside those segments are brass-plated trays. Inside the compartment sits a circular brass ring that can hold bottles. You can store drinks put glasses on the trays that are available. The brass ring on the inside reflects the light that comes in really nice and gives that luxury look especially when filled with bottles. The cabinet has brass-plated details and rubber wheels, so you can easily move it around. The polyhedron shape is supported by a three-legged structure that contrasts nicely with the straight lines of the bar compartment. There's a star-shaped structure between the vertical feet to make sure the cabinet stays stable. This beautiful bar is a true conversation piece or party starter! In very good original condition, only a very small dent on the outside of 1 of the wooden triangles. Eudoxus gave us the theory of proportion, the method of exhaustion, and the concentric spheres of the Ptolemaic cosmology. Theaetetus was the inventor of solid geometry and the general theory of incommensurables. He also constructed the regular polyhedra, demonstrated that each of them could be inscribed in a sphere, and proved that there could only be five. Some have suggested that the Timaeus was the official scientific handbook of the Academy, written to show off the brilliant discoveries of Plato's students. See less
