Large sized pulley pendant lamp made by stilux milano, italy 1960. This pendant lamp has minimalistic design. It has a hat-shaped shade with a smaller cup suspended underneath featuring a acrylic glass diffuser. The lamp includes a brass handle on the diffuser for easy adjustment. There's a weight above the shade to maintain balance, with brass ends and a black painted finish. The cord is seamlessly connected through a brass ring. This lamp gives off a nice and soft light. Easy to adjust in height due to the balanced pulling-system. Stilux milano was an italian lighting company that was founded in milan in 1946. The company was known for its high-quality and innovative lighting designs, which were produced during the mid-20th century. Stilux milano's designs were characterized by their clean lines and modernist forms, as well as their use of innovative materials such as acrylic glass and metal. The company was particularly known for its designs of table lamps and floor lamps, which often incorporated adjustable features and innovative lighting technologies. This lamp is checked in our own atelier, cleaned and is suitable for use in the usa. For us usage we could change the plug, or you can get a converter if needed for a floor or table lamp with transformer in it. this piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
