This rare lime … Read more Very rare unusual colored ‘Halo Click 2’ table lamp designed by Ettore Sottsass for Philips, Holland 1988. This rare lime green table lamp was designed by Ettore Sottsass for the Dutch market and therefore it’s very hard to find outside Holland. This table lamp version is the nicest because of the dimensions and proportions of the shade to the feet. The lamp has a very rare lime green coating on plastic and metal. The halogen click system is very ingenious and progressive for that time. Marked at the bottom Sottsass and Philips, also at the adjustable shade. This lamp comes from my personal collection and it is for sure one of the nicest I have seen, color wise. The plastic coating is very fragile and therefore there are always a few marks but on this one the marks are very minimal. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
