This large Japanese sandstone sculpture, more than 75cm high, represents a majestic eagle with outstretched wings chasing a seagull above the waves.
In Japan, the eagle symbolizes intelligence and power and this is exactly what the artist has transcribed with this work.

The shimmering colors range from sea green to purple to purple browns.
