The Aluminum Group is one of the most important furniture designs of the 20th century. Eames' leitmotif was to create high-quality and at the same time aesthetically sophisticated designs.
The use of innovative materials such as die-cast aluminum and naugahyde, taking ergonomic principles into account, was revolutionary at the time. The cover, which is tensioned in the aluminum frame, springs gently and adapts perfectly to the body.
Covered with violet-colored hopscotch.
Very good condition. The chrome is spotty in places. This piece has an attribution mark,
