Design Plus Gallery presents an Eagle Head and Claw Foot Seat Bench. The bench is petite and in Empire Style, referring to is an early-nineteenth-century design movement in architecture, furniture, other decorative arts, and the visual arts, representing the second phase of Neoclassicism. The decorative elements include black satin cushioned seating with golden bees and wreaths, with ebonized eagle heads and claw feet. Four black tassels. Bench is in good condition with one button tuft missing.
