Interesting form with woven rope ties over the outside to support and carry the jar. Chinese archaic Hotie face on the ring handles and on the border bands around the lip and base. The whole is very ancient and very modern taste at one time. Dark bronze patina and great weight to keep centered with branches or large florals. The inner wall of the mouth has a dedication in Chinese characters, The measurements are 15.25" tall and 11" in diameter. less
