There is a small chip in the glass that is shown in the pictures. Also the brass, of course it is 70 years old, has some patina to it. There are some small flaws on the marble as well.

Neoclassical crystal glass and brass on black marble. This spiral fluted crystal glass, raised on square foot, on square black veined marble base. Designed by Paul Hanson, Mid-Century Neoclassical 1954 35" Tall from top of Finial to base. The marble base is 6" x 6". The widest part of urn is 7" wide, vintage, working condition. Completely original, which is in excellent working order. There is a small chip, which is shown in the pictures. The brass has a very nice patina, yet is still bright and shines! Marble base has a few small scratches and some tiny chips at a couple of the corners. There aren't any marks or labels on the lamp. I got my information from an appraiser. less
