The 300X185 cm Tuareg mat that we present brings together the characteristics that distinguish the furnishing of a Tuareg nomad tent and the rigor of contemporary design. To offer our furnishings a fascinating combination. It has an excellent size: 300x185 cm, and despite being ancient, it is preserved in perfect condition. Created from desert palm wood woven with sheepskin. Its minimal design offers it a touch of discreet class. Its wonderful vintage flap comes from the few locally available vegetable colors

For these qualities, Tuareg mats have recently entered the world of fashion, cinema and furniture with force.
Tuareg or Saharan mats in general are a highly refined piece of furniture manufactured in the Sahara desert, generally in Mauritania. These mats were created by Tuareg women with the only local materials: sheep or dromedary leather cut very fine to allow the weaving with palm wood, the colors were added further. These mats are characterized by minimal and decisive designs that embody meanings immersed in the dawn of time. The artistic expression engraved on the Tuareg mat is a symbol of the majesty and free spirit of these nomadic populations.
