The seat and back surfaces of the armchairs are made of black canvas which has been stretched into the wooden strips and has an attractive patina. The armchairs consist of 8 slats and 4 corner posts made of solid ash wood which are put together in an ingenious system. The canvas of the seats was stretched over one another.
