"Mangroves" is a gorgeous large abstract expressionist oil painting on canvas by artist Trixie Pitts, a trusted artist seller since 2015. The palette consists of many different shades of green, light gray, robin's egg turquoise with black, white and some blue and pale violet. The lively brushwork, bold strokes and different thickness of the paint from thin wash to thicker strokes give this painting tremendous depth and movement. If you are looking for a big bold yet muted painting then this may be the one for you! Inspired by the artist's trip to Paris to see exhibition called "Monet and Mitchell".
