Made in France, circa 1860-1880's

Nice large size dough box in stand. The dough box lid is hinged for easy access, and the stand has a lower drawer for utensils. The drawer front is carved, as well as the lower skirt.

This could be used as a TV stand, or as a Bar table, with storage in the dough box part. or as a food service table for entertaining. Lots of great uses, for such a neat piece.

Dough box top separates from the base for easy transport, 2pcs.

Size: 49” wide, 22” deep, 38 1/2” tall.

Condition: Excellent overall condition. Lots of use and wear marks consistent with age. Evidence of old insect damage to the softwoods of the base, and interior of the dough box well. insect damage is very typical of 18th and 19th century French/European furniture. Old crack/shrinkage in the top board are consistent with age. less
