Bio:
Russell Baker studied in Leeds and New York and finally at the famous Slade School of Art where he became known for his skill and imagination in creating new forms of etching and monoprints.In the early ‘80s, he worked in New York where he attained worldwide recognition for his technique of combining intricate figurative imagery with abstraction. The beauty of his art is enhanced by his technical prowess working with plates, on which he applies genuine gold leaf, inks, and varnishes to produce his visions of beauty. His works are collected in over 20 countries.
