A 19th century French Napoleon III marquetry jardinière with inlaid veneers of walnut and exotic woods with ebonized trim. Fine quality cast bronze lion head handles, gallery, rosettes, bead trim and large nail heads. Unusual circular form. French polish finish. Tin liner. Good restored condition with minor veneer replacement. A beautiful planter for the display of orchids. Circa 1880-1900
