This fine hand-knotted carpet features a lustrous … more An antique Turkish silk Hereke oriental rug, size 4'6" x 3'0", circa 1920. This fine hand-knotted carpet features a lustrous short silk pile with a vase design at one end of the blue center field, elegant flower heads at center and an arch at the other end. The central frame is enclosed within a beautifully rendered foliate border with a small weaver's mark at one end before the long fringe. Extremely fine weave with a high knot count and a sheen to the silk pile. Excellent condition. Suitable either as a decorative floor covering in a low traffic area, or as wall decor. An amazing find and a definite boost to your home decor! less
