This fine hand-knotted wool rug features an ivory diamond-shaped medallion in the centre of the repeating Herati designs within the dark navy primary field. The medallion is reciprocated in four quadrants in each of the four corners of the field and is further echoed by the seldom found wide ivory border. A lovely rug, with particularly deft artistry in terms of the intricacy of its weave and the seamless synthesis of its various design elements. A great choice for a living space, a bedroom, a kitchen, or as a decorative accent. In good condition, with short wool pile, and with some areas of wear. An easy way to inject colour, warmth, personality, and style to your home decor! See less
