The amazing, carved, walnut frame is accented with burl wood. This piece also has lathe-turned front legs, and wood casters with brass fittings on all. The upholstery has been replaced at least once, and is in need of reupholstering again. The fabric is worn, faded in areas, and also has indentations due to the weight of sharp ,heavy objects.
