Asian Four Panel Folding Double Sided Room / Screen Divider. Hand carved wood with lacquered finish and glass protective screen. One side depicts mountains of jade with coral flower accents, jade and hardstone and the reverse side has gorgeous hand drawn flowers, waterfalls and cherry blossoms in rich, vibrant colors which stand out beautifully against the black background. The four panels are joined with brass hinges to form the hinged folding screen with numerous formation options. Intricately carved wood base with lacquered finish. Very nice condition with some age related wear; one hinge has broken but can be replaced or used as is.
