This 68 year old sink is in overall very good condition for the age, with nice glossy white porcelain and … more This 68 year old sink is in overall very good condition for the age, with nice glossy white porcelain and chrome that shines. The top, back horizontal surface is damage free and looks very good. The original Kohler faucets look good with chrome that is free of pitting or flaking. These faucets are spring-loaded, so one has to be holding them open to have the water flow. This is useful if you are trying to save water, otherwise not so much. They have not been tested recently with water, but the movement feels right. The area around the bowl is fine with only some light, shallow scratches to be found, and some roughness where the soap sat. The inside of the bowl is very good overall. There are some light scratches and a less than quarter inch chip near the bottom. There is some rust left by the last metal strainer flange that will be covered with a new one. The rest of the bowl is very good. The entire outside of the sink looks fine overall with only some very small typical chips along the bottom edges. When we acquired this sink, the underside was painted a couple of different colors, so it was given a new coat to freshen (and seal) it up. Since we use "spare" paint for this process, it ended up being two different colors again, but it looks much better than before. There is relatively little corrosion present, and the plumbing pieces shown are in good, usable condition. Please see the pictures for further details.
