I used to paint only birds because I love them so and feeding them has been a lifelong practice. I used mixed media along with layers of acrylic paint to make this piece. I call it Thrashers with Flowers (Curve billed Thrashers). I really pushed this painting very far as I was not happy with it for a long time. But after all of those layers it became something that I love! The sides are painted a dark teal and it comes ready to hang as is! Artist LWren Walraven See less
