This Italian Empire trumeaux mirror, beautifully finished by Fratelli Paoletti of Firenze in the 1950s, features an ivory lacquered wood frame, glazed and adorned with gilt mirror borders and a crown. The relief, carved from wood and gesso, features a crossed trumpet and violin adorned with foliate motifs and ribbon accents.
