These vintage Chinese Jingdezhen Demitasse cups (5) and saucer (1), made in the 1950s, have a pink and blue floral design with gold trim. The saucer is 4-1/2" in diameter, and the cups are 2-1/8" in diameter and are 2-1/4" tall. The cups are the perfect size for a spot of tea, sake, or espresso.
Jingdezhen, China, is known as the "Porcelain Capital" and has produced Chinese ceramics for over a thousand years. The birthplace of the famous blue and white porcelain, Jingdezhen porcelain is highly valued and collected and is considered the finest in China.
