Chinese framed porcelain Buddhist temple plaque, a finely drawn depiction of Kuan Yin in red and gold, seated on a lotus throne in lalitasana, with an ornate mandorla and halo, displaying the water of Life in her right hand and the willow leaf in her left, amid stylized clouds and Buddhist offering on a lotus leaf below, all done in fine gilt line drawing throughout. Signed, with five seal marks, in original, Chinese, hongmu frame, made with fine Chinese joinery, with original Chinese bronze hanger. The back is intact and removable. Circa Republic of China era or earlier.
